Helen O’Neill is the founder of correctly. She is originally from England but has lived in New Zealand, on Auckland’s North Shore, for twenty years. She decided to turn her love of the written word, and its proper usage, into a career and achieved her Diploma in Proofreading and Editing from the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies. Helen also has a BA(Hons) in Politics from the University of Portsmouth. Her work background spans from finance to the primary and secondary education sectors.

Helen has experience proofreading and editing a wide variety of media and genres: crime fiction, memoirs, education, children’s books, business association newsletters, websites, plus many more. She is comfortable with a variety of formats: hard copy paper print, PDFs, Google docs, and Microsoft Office suite. She has worked with New Zealand publishers Mary Egan Publishing, Potton and Burton, Upstart Press, Edify Publishing Ltd, and OneTree House Publishing, as well as New York based Felony & Mayhem Press. Plus she has vast experience with independent authors. Helen also proofreads and edits the monthly publication Torbay Magazine.
