It’s always an odd feeling when you finish working on a project. You’re pretty much the last person to fiddle with it but then it disappears back to the publisher and you never see it again. You can look it up on the publisher’s website, you can see it for sale online at various bookstores or even Amazon but you never see it in person, unless … you’re walking through the school library and BAM! There it is proudly on display – a book that you’ve had a part in. It’s a fabulous feeling.
And today I had yet another happy surprise as I was walking through Whitcoulls, another of my projects was sitting on the shelves. How lucky I am to be a part of such a fabulous industry and to be able to work with talented authors and their superb publishers.
